I have one. I think the chrome is not that great on it. Let me know if interested and I will dig it out and get some pics.

Thanks,

As long as it isn't broken anywhere then I'll take it. Not worried about the ascetics lol it just needs to work. Thank you

Re: WTB 3 on the tree shift lever

You may want to add a picture of the broken lever that is needing replaced or state the original year of steering column that it was removed from, there were a few different styles of the 3 spd. column shift levers used between 67-72. Once you confirm which one is needed, I may also have the lever available. Mel

That's a great idea Mel. It's off of a 1970. Here's a pic, don't mind the rest of the stuff on my toolbox been a busy week so far 😊

Re: WTB 3 on the tree shift lever

I think the earlier columns had a smaller hole for the lever, I ran into that when I had to replace mine one time. I got one out of a 72 with an automatic and I had to grind on it
a little to get it to fit into the hole on the column. The little ball on the end was the same size though.

Yeah you can from the pic that the little ball is what broke on mine. I was gonna weld it back on but it got lost ugh

That's what happened to mine. I was able to weld it back on but it ended up breaking off again.

Re: WTB 3 on the tree shift lever

Here is a pic. Don't know if the length is correct. This one seems short to me. Let me know what you think. $20 shipped if it will work for you.

It does look a little short. Let's see what Mel has and go from there. If his is the same $20 shipped sounds fine. Thank you

You didn't end up giving me time to reply back and since I already took the pics this morning I will go ahead and post them. If your column is for sure from a 70 model then 70STOVEBOLT's pictured earlier style lever will fit and work, it will just be a little shorter. Here is what I would have available, both of these levers are OE used with nice finish, the top one pictured would be correct for a 70 (.385 thickness across flats) and the lower one would be correct for 71-2 (.465 thickness across flats) both of these are the later longer style levers, your choice $25. + ship cost. Mel

Re: WTB 3 on the tree shift lever

Hey Mel, what is the deal with the shorter one? I think it came with a 67 column that I got several years ago.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark, yes the 67/68's used the same shift bowl as 69/70's but the lever was a bit shorter. Mel
