Re: My 69 CST
Thanks...! Well the sign is painted on from the original owner whom I have tried to locate but no success. I left it with the original paint on the truck. Kinda neat.

Re: My 69 CST
Last pic. Thanks for the comments, I tried to post these weeks ago when I first joined but got busy. Have to finish installing the AC and want to eventually put some rally sport rims on it. I will keep the originals though. Had a lot of problems with the rebuilt Rochester carb. Will be switching to the holly carb soon. It's a fun truck, like the long bed, since my 09 is a short bed. These trucks are kinda of a addiction, they are really cool to drive and easy to work on.

......That's a nice truck. New wheels and altitude and you have an instant shop truck

Re: My 69 CST
South of Gainesville, truck came from hollywood florida and went for a short stint to PA but not driven in the winter. Owner came down here and sold it to me. Somebody started some minor rust repair. There's not much, I wish that I had the original AC parts but the previous owner decided to rip it all out and purchased a new system from LMC. Underneath is extremely clean and rust free. So no frame work or anything like that is needed. I bought it a month ago, my family thought it would be a flipper type truck but I am keeping it. I paid a little more then I wanted to but could not pass the truck up. Now I will be finishing all the work that has not been done. I do have all new cab and bed mounts with bushings. So that's a upcoming change. Looking for a good set of GM rims but may go aftermarket. Keeping the paint original. Anyway cool site, so far I have been reading through a lot of pages and learning. So as I am forging ahead I am more then sure that there will be a lot of post from me. Thanks guys
