Thinking about a mild drop
My 72 C10 has the factory trailing arm suspension with the Auxiliary Rear Spring ( RPO G60) and my question is, if I went to a 2 1/2 inch front spindle drop with a 4 inch dropped rear spring with a Hellwig bolt on rear sway bar would I have to remove my Auxiliary Spring from the truck?

Re: Thinking about a mild drop
Yes, I would remove those springs, as they were intended for an overload spring. When the suspension drops, due to an increase in load, the trailing arms will contact the spring. When installing the lowering springs, it will more than likely put that trailing arm in contact with the overload at ride height, and would cause a harsher ride because of it.
