wiper motor bench test

Any help would be appreciated. ?...I am bench testing my 65 wiper motor- washer. I can only get the motor to make one revolution under power.....then the motor stops.....if I manually move it to continue the revolution it will again go to the same stopping point under power. Is this correct?

Re: wiper motor bench test

So for future reference. ?.......I relooked at my lackmof ground and realized the switch needed to be grounded as well. Problem solved. Now a new problem is the size of the holes in the existing motor mount bracket on the underside dash....the screw holes are so damn small compared to the bushing holes used to mount the motor???
WHAT gives with that????
Thats what happens when you get a truck in a box

Re: wiper motor bench test

If I got a box that had something that nice in it, I wouldn't be too upset about a wiper motor.
