Cragar Delux 69 wheels

I'm gonna get these wheels for my 72 Blazer 2WD 5 lug. Its going to be lowered with a 5/7 drop. Should I get 15x7 wheels or 15x8?

Let me know

I'd say it depends on the tire size you plan on running.

Did you know U.S. Wheel also makes a similar wheel? It's the Series 68 "Rat Rod". Just an F.Y.I. in case you were interested in comparing prices.

If you're thinking about trying to run those chrome spider caps, don't waste you're money. They won't clear the front hub on 71-72 c10's. The hubs are larger on 71-72s then the other years because of the disk brakes. Just went through this couple weeks ago with a new set. Had to send back and lost $$ on the return shipping. Just a heads up.

That's a bummer, those caps are pretty neat. Was it a significant difference in size? Could it be milled by a machine shop to clear the hub?

Re: Cragar Delux 69 wheels

They are bad a** looking. I love them. The cap won't seat all the way on the wheel. Gets maybe 3/4 over then the spider cap cone hits the hub. I didn't even think to look into having the hub milled. Tried to fit it, it didn't. Threw back in box. Maybe if you have a supplier close to you or a buddy who has a set, even if they are not 5x5 just to get the size of the center bullet. I hope it does work work out, maybe I'll look into it again.

I have the front crossmember off a 73. Think that will work?

Not sure about that. If you want I could measure the hub in my 71. See if it's any different. Won't be back in town until Monday though. Just drove into Reno.

Cragar makes a bullet center cap that may work and have a similar look.
