4X4 to 2X4 question.....

I know it has been covered a bunch on here but what is involved in swapping a 4X4 to a 2X4. I just scored a K-5 4X4 and I want to build a 2 wheel drive Blazer. I know some of you guys have done it. Please Help!

Thanks

PM member blazerboy as he has done it. He isn't on the board too much so he may not see your post.

yeah , its a pretty easy swap to do . it's better to have a donor truck to swap all stuff off of . that way you get all the little brackets and bolts that you will need . i used stuff off of a later model(74) 1/2 ton truck . i swapped it all into my 69 blazer. once you get to looking at all of your bolt holes you will see that alot of them line up! i think i only had to drill a couple holes for some other bolts . and all you do on the rearend is find a leafsprung 5 lug rear to trade for your six lug rear . its really pretty easy to do and once you tear into it , all of the small kinks in the details will smooth themselves out. i am at work so i can't go into detail but email me and i will give you the complete breakdown on it
