Th 350 w/ NP203

hello all,

Have a question on my 1970 C10 I currently have a SM240 with a Dana 18 transfer. I want to swap to automatic is a th350 with an NP203 good enough for a one for one swap? let me know what you think. Thanks,

The NP203 os a chain driven T-case where the 205 is all gear, the 203 was used on later models i believe 73 and up to?

Is it good enough? yes, is the 203 as tough as the 205, no but under extreem conditions 205's have also failed.
