Are wood floor and steel floor bed sides the same? Thanks guys and gals

I want remove the bed sides from a wood floor bed and install them on a steel floor bed. Would this be an issue?

No problem to do that. The end gate is different and the rear cross seal is different, the bed sides are exactly the same.
