Re: forum classified section
It's like this...
You can buy whatever you want, but you can't start a thread. Only subscribers can initiate a sale here, to help control scammers hoping on for a quick buck. Any WTB or WIW (what's it worth) post lets others know you want to buy or sell said item which can initiate a sale. It also promotes people sending PMs with offers to sell or buy. A non-suscribing scammer can send a PM, so it protects you as well as others. I'm pretty sure if you leave that WTB up in your signature you will be hearing from the staff. that's just a way to get around the rules and they don't like that. $25 is cheaper than one Sunday ad in your local paper and it is what keeps the wheels rolling so the world can have the best early GM Truck resource on the planet. This site is pretty big and there's a lot to learn and get used to. You're new...welcome. It takes time to get familiar. There is a forum here for site feedback and such questions. This forum is for 67-72 truck related topics, so it will get moved to there

Re: forum classified section
You aren't giving your money to a corporation, you are helping to fund a message board that contains more information than any magazine will ever provide. If you think all you will ever need are three small parts for your truck, sell it now because I guarantee you will need more later on down the road

Re: forum classified section
Not much i can add, especially without being hypocritical, as Special-K pretty much summed it up. This is a great resource, it's a large family of sorts, and worth way more than the $25 they ask for to keep it running. Welcome to the board
