Stuck in gear
I have 1969 Chevy k10 with the 3 speed granny gear and it was driving just fine I went and parked in the driveway threw it in 1st so it wouldn't roll back went back out and it wouldn't come out of gear and my clutch isn't engaging. I've tried adjusting my clutch and that hasn't done me any good. I've opened the inspection cover and the clutch moves off the flywheel but it still acts as if it's in gear.

Does the shift lever move around excessively? If not will it move at all? LockDoc

Re: Stuck in gear
Had that happen to me a few weeks ago found out my truck was victim of a car jacker that failed or got scared during the process and broke the linkage and truck was stuck in either 2nd or 3rd gear made a few attempts to get it out drop the drive line to get around finally a few days later found out the swing arm and forks were jammed rocked it back and fourth got some vise grips and it popped out of gear now waiting till after the holidays to buy a new shifter for the truck
