my '69 spid label

I ask you. Is this not the most pitiful spid label ever? This truck's got nothing!

It appears to say
model cs10704
4503AV light green
4p13AA side mounted wheel
1612ba green vinyl trim

It is a 69 Chevy C10 step side
short wheel base
spare mounted inside the bed, front left corner
6 cyl, 3 ott
am radio
painted front bumper
hubcaps
I moved the glove box door and dusted it off to find this today.
Just a good old basic Chevy truck.
I've made only a few changes so far.

Looks similar to mine. I look at it as a blank canvas.

Re: my '69 spid label

Just noticed the difference in the glovebox raised outline from 67 vs later. I knew the spid's were different but not the raised surrounding the spid.

Re: my '69 spid label

That's about the bare minimum isn't it?

That is strange. Who would have thought they would change the inside panel of a glove box door?

In my words: Like you said, just a good old basic Chevy truck. And it's a nice one. (I think they all can be nice)

Absolutely. That is a no option SPID.

I guess the radio was added. I've had some like yours, Boog. In fact, that last little '72 short bed I had came with sway bar and gauges. It was a 6cyl/3spd. great truck. I wish I still had it.

Re: my '69 spid label

Like many others I wish I had one original truck like this one was and a modded one too.
I bought this truck and only drove it home. It's been in the shop ever since. Almost 20 years. Man, time sure gets away doesn't it?
