Seat belt Bolts

So in the process of stripping my interior and slowly putting it back together I've misplaced or lost my seat belt bolts.

I tried to use standard bolts but 1/2" ones are to big and 7/16" thread in but move around in the threads.

I can't seem to find anything on the web do y'all have any ideas

Thanks

Re: Seat belt Bolts

There's a pick n pull in your town that will have the bolts in a truck.

Re: Seat belt Bolts

Believe it or not: it's an M12. (M12 x 1.75 x 35mm, to be precise).

My service information only goes back to '85, but a user on another forum confirmed the M12 worked in his '73.

We were inching our way towards the metric system but we are still a mile away.

Re: Seat belt Bolts

Thanks Keith I went and got those exact bolts and they worked great.

Metric bolts are dang expensive compared to Mercan ones.

Re: Seat belt Bolts

Speaking of metric bolts, the ones on my 1981 k30 frame are metric. Really aggrivated me as now I'll have to have metric and standard on my truck. The struggle...

Edit : Keith - "inching our way toward the metric system" I seen what you did there...
