removing sprayed on bedliner??
My truck has spray on bed liner, and its very sprayed on heavy. They went all the way to the top of the bed. I want to remove the coating from the top lip of the bed rail, and hopefully save the paint underneath.
In my searches in have found that heat seams to be the best option. I'm thinking of trying a heat gun and seeing if it will cause a reverse reaction. Any idea's or experience? Thanks Ken

Re: removing sprayed on bedliner??
I got news for you . If it was a professionally spayed job there is no saving the paint . They use about a 40 grit sand paper or something like it on the paint to scuff it to make it stick . I dont think you are going to like what you find under there .

Re: removing sprayed on bedliner??
I was hoping I wouldn't have to paint the whole truck right now. The paint is cleaning up really good. And with a little buffing the shine is coming right back. Most of all the stuff on the truck is Water Oak Sap. When I bought the truck it had been sitting under a couple of those mammoth Oak trees.
I have never been a fan of spray in bed liner. I have been know to wax the inside of my bed before, I always keep it washed and clean. Thanks for the responses Ken
