Heck of a buy and love that brush guard too! Those of us in the eastern C/K-10/20 desert back east can only stare enviously at the abundant fruit lying all over the ground for you west coast guys to pick up for cheap.

Thanks for the link TJ! Somehow I had missed this. I normally check Craigslist daily but somehow had missed this. It will make a great donor for my dads 70 C10 3OTT.

Must have been a good deal, or seller remorse before the sale.

Yes I did. I have not brought it home yet. It is pretty rusty and beat up, but will work for what I need. Seems to have a good TH350 and all the parts for an auto changeover on my Dads 3 speed. He will be 77 this year and has lots of arthritis so adding ps,pb, and auto to make driving his old truck a bit more enjoyable. It also has a 4 core radiator and front sway bar, which will get transferred as well.

I'll try to sell the 283 locally and possibly make a trailer out of the bed. The cab is really rusty with bad cancer in the floors and around the windshield. The bed is beat up on the passenger side and inside the box. Needless to say the years have not been kind to her.

Definitely would like to meet up sometime. We pass through CJ couple times a year going to the coast. Not sure about the GP show, but really trying to make the rat rod show in Pottsville in August. PM me next time you come to Meddy.
