Front end travel limiters and shock relocation
I changed the front coils on my truck recently to a custom spring from coil spring specialties. It sits a lot lower than it used to. I only have an inch of travel in the front shock before its bottomed out now. Does someone make a relocation bracket that will work with the stock style shock(stud upper mount). I just bought new QA1 single adjustables and don't really want to buy another set of shocks.
And now when I launch the truck I have so much upward travel the alignment is way out of wack when the truck is all the way up in the air. What have yall done for travel limiters on the front end?

If you look at post 198 in my storytime thread my old front end is pictured. Its kinda simple but effective. I used 3/4 all thread with a nut welded to the top of the upper control arm. The all thread will make contact on the crossmember as a stop. You just cut it to length and use a jam nut on top. Its good for limiting around four inches of upward travel. Make sure you buy hardened all thread.

I ran into a similar situation many years ago. I fabricated a new upper shock mount bracket and located it at the top of the frame rail. If I would've waited another year, a few aftermarket suppliers started offering them.

I decided to order another set of coil springs with another 1.5" of ride height after I realized my control arms are scraping and I can't get it on and off the trailer without dragging badly. Combined with the other two issues I think I'll start with a taller spring
