I am looking at seat cover from bothers trucks. My issue is that it is shown for 1971 to 1972 seat and i have 1969 CST, so I just need to know if they fit.
Thanks for the responses.

Yes the seat cover will fit. You might have to build up the thickness of your seat some, but it will fit. Here's a cover I recently got. It's black with grey and black houndstooth inserts built by Truck World. Great quality.

Re: 1971 seat cover fit 1969 seat

I just did exactly the same thing. I found that the bar across the back of the lower frame on my seat was higher than on the 71 frame, which meant that the back edge of the seat cushion cover (the part you sit on) needed to be shortened by about 1 1/2", if I recall.
15 minute mod if you can drive a sewing machine.
No change to the foam required, although I did wrap the foam in a couple of thicknesses of batting to fill out the cover. This is better than adding more foam because, since it compresses down to nothing when you sit on it, it does not alter your seating position.

Thanks fir the reples!! I was thiking about adding 1/2 to 1 inch high density foam to the top of the bottom foam. All the foam is there and all the springs are good, just wanted to add a little to the old foam.
