look at this dual snorkel ram air box I put together for the work truck...
A guy was selling these homemade dual snorker aircleaners at the Arlington swapmeet for $30. I painted it a wrinkle black finish, and got the dryer vent hoses from Home Depot. I think it looks great on my '93 work truck. Something different anyway. SC

Cool, now if you can figure a way to "force" air into them.

Yeah, I just ran one hose to an open spot behind rad support but in front of the battery on the pass side, then the other hose to a nice open spot in the rad support behind the driver's side headlight. I'm sure they don't pull as much air as was going through the previous open element aircleaner I was running, but it's probably pretty close, and it really cut down on the loud "hissing" noise tbi's make when you put an open element aircleaner on
72shadetree, glad you got the ps set-up OK. Thanks for the fast payment and easy transaction. SC |

If that truck has the small square glass light's you could take out the highbeam light and make it look like a thunderbolt with the stainless mesh to keep bird's and other large dabree out... But then you would have to find a small high/low beam light for the outter hole? The motor on the bottom look's cool but I do not see how the solid heatercore line would last to long with the motor movement???

SC, that system looks great, especially for $30. I would think you're actually better off w/that set-up compared to the open element because your actually pulling in cooler/denser outside air vs. underhood heated air.
