To All I Owe Parts
I want to be upfront and say im sorry, but i know sorry isnt good when your awaiting parts.I have been going to the Doctors alot, and yes i do have another brain tumor,it hasnt grown since my last MRI.I have been working about 60 hrs a week, and my wife has had a minor surgery, and cannot walk for atleast 4 more weeks,so im coming home and getting her food, pills, drink, doing the laundry, dishes, cooking, and i dont cook.I have been swamped and it came about all at once, the month before i did nothing but enjoyed my summer vacation.I know excuses to you that i owe parts Big Orange $20 for a BB alt bracket thats was sold as aftermarket, that wouldnt work on remote reservoir pumps i guess. One guy wants $35 for parts and shipping refund, for motor mounts,I need to send a tach dash, and a set of BB motor mount towers out.Thats every thing.I havent forgot,im sorry i have rarely been on the computer.Im suire nobody has seen me post in a while.I am sorry for the lack of communication,im not ripping anyone off.to those i owe parts i will try to ease some of the pain and refund shipping charges with your parts, others i will refund. If anyone else has ever had a problem please email me at gmcrat427@yahoo.com i wont really be on the forum anymore, maybe from time to time, but at this point in my life my number one goal,is to get healthy, get my wife back on her feet, and get back to a regular work week.Maybe ill be back, but i doubt it.I at this point have 100% no interest in truck or cars for that matter, everything i own is up for sale.last years medical bills were about $750,000 but i have insurance, but it doesnt cover it all,and im still going in for blood work, scans,MRIs im about sick of it,and ready to quit going to the doctors,i take 7 different medications per day all with the side effect of drowsiness, one for seizures, one to make me happy, one to cover up the chronic stomach pains the other one makes, one to try to keep me awake.and to top it all off guess what.Im not allowed to drive, they say i will be able to again, but not sure when.Well enough life history.I want to make peace to the people i owe,and if youve dealt with me in the past, and not happy id like to make it right please email me.I dont check my email everyday anymore, but i will get to you.Thank you and Happy Trucking to you all.

DR,
Ditto what 68 Suburban said. We have never met, but have talked about some parts on the board before. I live in Sierra Vista, but have family and friends in and around Phoenix. If you get to swamped, let me know and I would be glad to come help you out for a day.

DR - I'm sorry to hear of your and your wifes hardships. But, please don't give up. I have never dealt with you personally, but have seen your posts and dealing in the past. I know that you are an upstanding board member, and person. Just remember, if it weren't for the low points in life, the high points would just seem normal. Hang in there buddy, and I hope to see you 'active' on the board real soon!!!

DR,
I figured that you were carrying quite a burden, but I had no idea that it was that severe. We will include you in our prayers. Take care. Jim |

Thanks guys.Ive recieved some nice emails.I am not trying to get sympathy or anything. And im not dying,i hope.I do have a tumor that is lying around doing nothing right now.But its in my thoughts constantly.I am having a rough time right now, with so much going on.and i feel like im being pulled in 20 different directions.I honestly dont know if im coming or going,or which way to go.Hopefully life will resume to normal soon. Here im using my 20 minute break-LOL to come home make breakfast for my wife, and myself, and drive 100 mph back to work.At this point i want 100% nothing to do with my truck and parts i wish someone would buy it all.I havent even started the old chevy in 3 weeks, ive been driving a Nissan.and i hope to never get in it again.I also am need of funds.so i will be selling the tach out of it,the tilt out of it,and my 67 bucket seats.I dont need them and can put in regular parts, for when i have to drive it again,or get rid of it.I have alot of cool stuff i dont want to sell, but i am forced to.But shipping stuff its not a good time,as a few can testify to,and i feel like a real schmuck. The next swapmeet i will try to dump the stuff for whatever i can get.Sorry if my first post made it sound like i am on my death bed,i feel like it,but im not. Thanks guys!

Now that is how you should take care of a problem on the board. Explain, say you are sorry, and correct it. I have dealt with DR for years and have enjoyed it and gotten some great parts.
Take care of yourself. We are all hoping for your speedy recovery and would like to hear from you regularly on here. We appreciate the great information and rare parts you have provided us in the past. |

Desert Rat,
I do not know you either but have read your past posts with great interest. I am not a very religous man either but have had my share of tough times health wise and others but I truly believe what does not "kill us makes us stronger". My step-Dad is an ex catholic priest and he has helped me in many ways it always helps to talk and ask for help when you really need it. So I geuss what I'm trying to say is the board members in AZ who have offered their time to help you are their for you and I'm sure you and your family are in all our prayers. So keep up the faith and stand tough you are not alone!

Micah
He has e-mailed me several times over the past 6 months. He keeps apologizing for not sending my parts and offers to just send the money back. I told him I'll take the money, the parts, parts of equal value and I still get nothing. It may be personal visit time. I'm pissed............
