Starter on a 305 with 1 terminal
Just dropped a later model 305 in the 72. Question is I had 2 wires going to 2 terminals on the 350... ,how do I connect them now we ith only one terminal on 305 starter? Can I just use my old solenoid or what? Thanks

Are you still using points ignition? That's what the yellow wire (relay) is used for.

Here's the wiring. The pink wire is where the purple goes and nothing goes to the outside terminal with HEI ignition. BTW how did you wire the ignition to the HEI BAT distributor terminal?
