Really nice 81-up tan (Carmel) door panels F/S
I have a super nice pair of Carmel tan door panels-set up for power locks and manual windows and these are genuine GM with excellent grain texture on top of both, no chalkiness or baking of the plastic. They show very minor wear and include what you see in the pics. For those who are familiar with parts I sell, I don't offer door panels unless they are very nice and would be ideal for anybody building/restoring an interior. With a little bit of work, these can be show quality. Tan is a very difficult color to find in nice shape and these are my best panels in that color! I'm asking $400 for these plus shipping. I also have the window cranks, lock switches and door handle trim which I will include for that price. If somebody is interested, obviously these can easily be converted to power windows and I can supply full window/lock harnesses too....let me known if that's is an option for you and I will quote you a package deal.
Again, these are way above average condition and can easily be show quality-the tops of them show very minor discoloring but expectedly to be 100% mint they would require a quality dye job in the factory color but-you would be hard pressed to find a better pair of Carmel tan door panels! |

Re: Really nice 81-up tan (Carmel) door panels F/S
Ok...as promised, here are pics of assembled Carmel tan door panels. The price is $400 plus shipping and NOS supplied parts are:
Buckskin tan door strap pulls (I don't have Carmel so I am including these instead) Door strap pull covers/screws Used but very nice GM OEM parts are: Door handle trim covers Lock switches Window cranks w/spacers and retaining clips Aftermarket parts are: LMC door panel door strap insert panels. In the following pics is everything you get for $400 plus shipping. This is an awesome set of panels for the money-I'm firm on the price since it has taken me awhile to gather the right pieces for this. These can be used in crew cabs as well and can be modified for power windows too in either a pickup or a crew. |

Those are a great set. Kicking around the idea in my head.

Re: Really nice 81-up tan (Carmel) door panels F/S
Not a huge deal but I wish I had Carmel pull straps. But, as it is, the tan of the cloth inserts match the buckskin tan pull straps so it still looks good IMO. I was going to use these and a rear door set on a white/tan '75 CC I was trying to buy but that fell thru. I was going to do a brown Dashpad with Carmel interior using 1981-up doors and white upper trim....dammit....may not happen. So, keeping an eye out for another truck.

Could you snap a pic of the color difference of the buckskin vs carmel? It has been a while since Ive seen either in person.

Here ya go....I guess its tuff to tell them apart even laying one on the other. The straps are GM #14064844. I assume there must be Carmel strap pulls....? I have a lot of these GM strap pulls in various colors but all of my "tan" ones are this particular number.

What do you think shipping would run to 77356?

With the way I package/secure a pair of door panels you're looking at about $28-32 to ship to TX from IA.
