'69 c-10 steering box removal

I'm going to replace the power steering box on my '69 c-10 and want to know how hard is it to do? Thanks, Bill

I just replaced the one on my C-30. Disconnect the pitman arm from the cross link first. Then 2 bolts on the rag joint (9/16"), disconnect the hoses (the one on the outside is 5/8" and the one on the inside is 11/16"), 4 bolts that go through the frame into the box (5/8") and pull it out.

It's pretty easy. Buy or rent the larger of the two pitman arm pullers. You won't have to remove anything else, just remove four bolts from the gearbox.

I forgot about the rag joint bolts.
