My new 77 Sierra Classic. All original
Picked this one up in northern CA and drove it 7 hours home in the heat. Needless to say it runs better than a new truck. Factory AC, ps, PB, tilt, clock, 350/400... The truck is all original paint and interior and in awesome shape. I think this is the one I'll end up keeping for myself. Purchased off of the second owner, who got if off of the original owners family member after he had passed away. He kept the truck up very well and it shows. It needs a couple of minor things fixed (Rear back window, headliner, seat belts), but it's really a VERY nice original truck. I can't believe how good the truck runs.

Re: My new 77 Sierra Classic. All original
Plans as of now are just fix the minor things and cruiser her around to local shows and swap meets. The prior owner had it lowered and put brand new drop shocks all the way around, new tires, powder coated the rims, NOS caps and a dual exhaust. I personally love the way it sits right now, so I'll probably keep it as is and just cruise it.

Factory th400 in a small block 1/2ton? I feel like the wheels need some spacers too to really complete the lowered look.

1) Headliner, does it have a factory headliner now? If so, just recover it yourself, it is fairly easy. I did this to my own. You'll only need a couple of yards of material & a good spray adhesive. http://www.yourautotrim.com/auothead.html http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yourautotrim..._2269_93597818 2) Seatbelts, if they are in good working order but just filthy (which they look like it). Take them out and try cleaning them. Pull the belts completely out and spray them down with a good cleaner and then used a steam cleaner. It's worth a shot. |

Awesome. It's a perforated vinyl material, I just need to track some down. I'll also try cleaning the seat belts. Thanks!
As for wheel spacers, I think I like it better as is (thank you though) |
