1971 Chevy wiper motor removal
I took the 3 bolts out from the wiper motor. Its very lose and spins about 3/4 of a turn but will not come out. I don't want to break anything. Any tips?

Re: 1971 Chevy wiper motor removal
Did you remove the bolt that holds the actual wiper shaft to the motor output?

Re: 1971 Chevy wiper motor removal
If you haven't already, you need to remove the wiper blade arms and remove the cowl vent panel to get to the nut on the wiper motor arm that the wiper arm transmissions attach to, otherwise, it's not coming off.....

Re: 1971 Chevy wiper motor removal
Yea finally figured that out. Here is another question. I put 12 volts on the bottom 2 terminal connection. Where the yellow wire would go. Then the negative on the single connection on top. The motor went clockwise very slowly. Then I switched the negative to the remaining terminal and it went fast counterclockwise. I guess its working right? Looks like just the switch or a bad connection somewhere?
