Bench seat covers / L&R door panels / double french seamed dash cover / recover your visors , $350.00 - $400.00 depending on design in vinyl .

Suede / real leather / embroidery adds to cost .

Re: Complete custom interior kits

Grumpy, do you have a source for a material to do a sandalwood dash pad? They are not available, I am guessing the parchment interior community would come running. I would be interested in that.

Re: Complete custom interior kits

what would the cost be minus the door panels (bench seat, dash and visors) in black?

Re: Complete custom interior kits

I'm interested in the pricing of just a custom bench seat cover. A price range is fine, not knowing the vinyl. Thanks.

Re: Complete custom interior kits

I didn't even notice you replied with the link of the sandalwood sample. Looks right. Do you have a picture of the French seam pad? And does it need to be done on the dash pad or would you do the cover and just send that to be installed by me on my pad? Cost either way?

I can make the dash cover and ship it to you for you to install on your dash pad , There's a couple pictures and more info here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=700777

I would rather make a few of the sandalwood at the same time because of the amount of material needed length wise would cost more for me to order and ship than what I would charge to make just 1 . I'm sure you understand or I could just raise the price to cover all the material costs

No, really the dash pad is longer than the material is wide so I have to buy the length needed going up the roll which leaves 2/3 as leftover and it would cost me to build you a dash cover ...Thats not good . PM sent

Yes I understand completely, I noticed that when I went and looked at the materiel sample page. I see the pics in the other thread, they look great. I did not receive a PM, but would be interested in a sandalwood pad with white stitching. Let me know. Thanks!

Re: Complete custom interior kits

Grumpy- Would you be able to do my dash pad (black NOS) in 1972-631 Olive Custom in leather french seam? Also, could you do the visors in leather? And way out in the field! Could you do a headliner in leather? Thanks, Dan

Yes on the dash , yes on the visors and yes on the headliner .Are you wanting "real cow hide leather" ?? Because there are so many "leather like" materials available today that it's a lot less upkeep that real leather that needs to be treated monthly to keep it pliable and moisturized , Not to mention the cost of real leather can get pricey fast .

Sure , If someone just wants a dash cover I'll get it sewn up for them Whatever you need . And when anyone wants a bowtie or something similar ,I always suggest having the design Embroidered onto the seat rather than it being sewn onto the seat which to me looks less finished .here is a link to one of my suppliers look thru an find the colors you want .I have an embroidery shop I work with to have pretty much anything you may want embroidered into your new covers , They even have chrome looking thread.

I'm open to suggestions and ideas on the materials! I would like minimum up keep, but I may have a source for the leather, but some are harder to work with than others.

Would you PM me a ballpark on the cost in leather for each item.

Are you around Cookesville in east TN? Thanks, Dan
