1958-1996 Chevy width

I saw a ? about 73 to 90's width and didn't want to steal the thread. I have a 96 Chevy truck, runs and drives great, got totaled due to being sideswiped. Does anyone know if the body width, or track width is about the same for a 58. I have access to a 58 truck with a trash frame. It may not be worth it to try a body swap, but if a cool old body would work on this truck it might be worth looking into.

try gmupfitter for specs on the newer truck. try searching this site for "58 apache frame measurements"and you will find a blueprint there. the 55.2-57 frame is a bit shorter out front of the rad support otherwise same as 58-59.
