Updated pics of my 68 (wheels, tires and mirrors)

Was able to pick up some new mirrors, rally wheels and some new BFG Radial T/A's. Man these trucks have a lot of open fender well at stock height. I may have to slam it after all!! LOL

backside

This is turning into a much more fun truck to drive. I had to buy a new radiator for her to. Named her Em...wife came up with that because the original owners first and last name began with 'M'

of 68 and daily driver. I'm still looking for rear wheel arch trim and the piece that goes in front of it for the passenger side if anyone has it.

(First pic) Look at that poor cab peaking out of the garage, trying to get into the pic with the others - probably feeling like the stepchild lately....

A 4"x6" drop would be perfect

Hey, could you do me a favor????

Can you measure the distance between the top side of the horizontal part of the core support mount bracket to the bottom of the core support?

I'd really appreciate it! My front frame horn(s) are slightly bent (vertically) and I'm trying to find out which one is wrong (or if both are off). Since that truck hasn't been touched by Lost Wages or myself, it be a good one to measure

Thanks!

Jason

Yes, the 71 is feeling a little neglected. Either that or the 68 is scared as hell she is going to end up in pieces like the 71!! LOL

The tires are 245/60r/15's. I wish I would have gotten the 255's.

Slammed, I will measue for you but it will be the weekend. From the bottom of the core support to the mounting hole??

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a TRUCK board, right?: Borrowing from Mr. Webster we find:

Quote:
Main Entry: truck
Function: noun
Etymology: probably back-formation from truckle small wheel -- more at TRUCKLE BED
Date: 1611
3 : a wheeled vehicle for moving heavy articles:
I think it was engineered with that stance purposely.:p

"Slamming a truck is like installing a brushguard on an SUV that never sees the offroad. It may look cool, but serves no purpose."

But this board would be no fun without the "pretenders"

LOL, I knew I couldn't get thru the week without at least one skirmish.

Geez I was just kidding. My name was mentioned and I was playing along.

That's cool though, cause they put bags on dump trucks.

Drop it, slam it, dump it, or maybe bag it. Just don't juice it, or leave it stock....
