Question seat foam replacement

I would like some info on replacing the original seat foam on my 72 blazer bucket and bench seats. I was told that the original foam was better than the replacement foam that an upholstery shop is using. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks Richie.

Re: seat foam replacement

I'll get this party started with a link to my old first post that may help:

It is not exactly what you want but I think you will be able to improvise for your situation

I think this was the first of several series of photos showing the process I used

Grumpy also has posted and he has an improved process involving power tools!

But Google "angle grinder accident" and click "images" as the search type in Google before you start..

Re: seat foam replacement

Yesterday I read most of bollybib's build thread and starting on page 9, post 211 he goes into great detail about foam density and rebuilding his foam seat. Pretty interesting! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=456911&page=9
