400" 2-bolt Block For Sale
I have a bare .030" over 400" block/caps for sale. This is a 2-bolt block with only the 2 freeze plug bosses. Should only need to deck block and finish hone to fit your pistons.
Block has been magnafluzed - no cracks. $350 plus shipping (if necessary). I'm in Binghamton, NY 13901 email at: gsxmen@sbcglobal.net

Any chance it has 020 or 030 cast in the side?

Finally got the #'s off the 400 block:
Front Pad: FC222TTC (can't really make out the first T, but I believe all truck blocks start with T) Rear Deck: 3951509 Date Code: B 15 8 Oil Filter Area: 010, 020, 164 (I'd be curious to know what the 164 stands for) Bell Housing area: H11, 010 (don't know if that means anything or not) *Only #'s I didn't copy down are the ones in the timing cover area. Thanks.

That 509 block is one of the better blocks out there and a 2 bolt main is way better than a 4 bolt in the 400 blocks. And if you want to put the splayed caps on there, then they are even stronger.

**Any one know what the '164' #'s by the oil filter stand for?? I know that the 010 and 020 refer to the nickel and tin content, but I've never heard what the 164 was. Thanks

Just want to bring this back up top.
Anyone in the NY, NJ, PA area that might be interested, I'd be glad to do a little driving to help eliminate shipping costs (depending on how far away).

Thought I had this block sold, but the deal went south.
Still for sale. Thanks.
