putting 4 speed into low hump auto cab?
rock and a hard spot..... swapping out a rust bucket cab for a slightly less rusted out one
I'm putting a 70 c1500 auto cab into a k10 with the granny low 4 on the floor high hump rig, I know a lot of you boys have been there done that, can any one point me to a good thread or give me some tips that will make this a smooth job |

I just converted from a turbo 350 to a SM465 and there is not much to it. Use your high hump out of the rusty cab, cut out the floor and bolt it back in. You have a pattern in the rusty cab and there are basically lines on the floor where to cut. You have it a little easier being a k10 because I would bet your motor is in the rear position. I ended up taking the top cover off the trans and trimming the fire and lifting the cab up. Next time I will put the trans in from underneath rather than trying to put the engine and trans in as a unit.
