Wtb 2wd chassis
Oh No here we go again,
First of all a few Q's. Are the cab mount locations the same on 2wd and 4wd ?Any differences in years? Now the fun part , I'm thinking of changing my 4x4 to 2wd, Crazy huh? That's what I thought . Anyways, my body is 67 but would prefer to have disc brake chassis . What year frame would I be looking for? Does anybody have short wheel base chassis that they would sell/tradewithin reasonable distance of Mississippi? And info and help would apperciated. Thanks, Jeff

I have a swb 2wd disc brake rolling frame in beaumont texas area. It is a coil spring rearend. The frame are all about the same 67-72. The 69-72 frames are the best for p/s setup. I will take 450.00. That is about what i have in it. Let me know if this would help. Thanks Steve

I wish I had a swb frame for you.
I have a lwb '72 pickup that I'd trade frames (and suspension and running gear and steering gear (mine's power), and whatever else is 2wd/4wd specific) with you. Disc brakes, 5-lug wheels, posi rear... You'd have to cut it to get it to fit the swb. I'm clear in AZ though, but I'd like to make that c10 a K something... It just doesn't fit in my signature!

I have a '68 SWB coil rear frame that I would be willing to sell. I am in North Alabama (about 20 miles west of Huntsville - right on Interstate 65).
If interested, email me and I will take some pics. It currently has a 3.73 posi rear under it ... I can price it with the rear or without. It has the drum brakes on it, but I would be willing to sell the bare chassis pretty cheap. Disc brake fronts are an easy swap. Looks to be about 5 1/2 hours according to Yahoo! maps. Good luck on a 71 72 swb.. I would suggest a 71 72 lwb and shorten it. They are rather cheap. I personally have one and its for sale complete with vin plate and clean title. 71 3/4 discs and coil dana rear. $350 plus shipping from Chico Calif.

Hey guys thanks for the responses. Steve and Shane ,I'm definantly (sp) intrested in your setups . Will be a couple of weeks before I can buy anything ,Wife 's building me a shop and im gonna have to wait till it's finished. Pics would be nice too
Also What all is involved in cutting a lwb frame down? A guy here local has got a lwb , but I really don't think I want to get that involved in all the cutting. The frame I will have is 67 swb set up for auto 4in. rancho lift Axles are 12 bolt and d44 4.11 gears open diffs Don't know about price yet . Jeff
