Carb restoration / multi carbs / refinishing

After sending numerous e-Mails to the Holly carb specialty shop in Bowling green with no response back I searched and found Baldwinperformancecarb.com located in NC who specializes in rebuilding and restoring our old carbs and specializes in multi carb intake systems , I talked to them on the phone this morning and he was willing to answer any questions I had and his prices were good , he has the hard to find parts and I'll be sending my 427 tri power intake and carbs out to him to restore to factory specs , he said he welcomes all questions and he's happy to rebuild quadra jets also check them out for your carb issues/ parts .

Oval port or rect port? Plan on running it on one of these trucks?

I have a friend with an oval port setup, we joked about putting it on mine, it would look cool...

I have 3 1968 427 435 hp tri power engines with complete date coded intakes and carbs I lucked into so ... Yes I plan on running one in my resto mod 67 with the m-22 Muncie and stock 3.73 posi rear , I had planned on being done soon but plans change now I'm changing more things to be ready for the 2017 power tour with a 50 year old restomod sporting a 427 Tri power / muncie/ posi old mans performance set up to show the young guns it's not all about injected LS engines and computer driven automatics ! Real men drive their trucks not just sit inside and let it drive you ...

I like it!

All my son talked about is an LS swap in his '66 Stepside...

Re: Carb restoration / multi carbs / refinishing

My Q-jet was restored by Bob Stone (carb doctor on eBay). Runs as good as it looks. If I ever run another q-jet it will come from him.

Sure does look pretty. Did he do all the coloring/plating on it? Like if I sent him a tired looking one would it come back looking like yours?

Yes, many people on here have done the same thing.
