Re: Screw holes in trim?
I do not know of any. You'll probably have to get new/replacement trim.

Re: Screw holes in trim?
Stainless can be welded, ground, and polished when repairs are needed, however, this is a pretty delicate repair on trim considering how thin it is. It may be cheaper and easier to find a replacement piece than it would be to find a qualified repair guy.

Re: Screw holes in trim?
I can't remember the name of the place in New Jersey, but they fix body trim. I had the rear peak molding on my 65 Nova fixed by them after another car banged into me and pushed the bumper into it and pinched the trim. It was pricey, but it looked new when I got it back. if I can find the receipt, I will post the name and phone number.
I'm still looking for the receipt but if memory serves, the shop was in Boonton, New Jersey. I did a google search, but nothing came up of the name. I will still keep looking. Last edited by 65chevysub; 05-17-2016 at 09:48 PM. |

Re: Screw holes in trim?
Ok thanks, I would appreciate that. It's for the 60-61 deluxe trim, so not very easy to source replacement pieces..
