LS swap oil pans for cheap!

Just ordered one last night for $125 with everything, told myself to post a thread to let everyone know and come back to look today and they're $155. Still a deal considering buying from jegs and summit is $180. Just putting this out there for anyone with an LS swap project NOT ME SELLING THEM.

Re: LS swap oil pans for cheap!

I've ordered a few things on Amazon that were dirt cheap, and when I checked the next day they went up significantly. I think sometimes their pricing is off and they do not realize it until someone buys it, then they raise the price.

Re: LS swap oil pans for cheap!

Crazy, the exact same thing happened to me today. I ordered a tool then changed my mind. Cancelled it a few minutes later. Then I realized that it was a good deal, and decided I should have ordered it... price went up about 10%. This all happened in just a few minutes. At first the price still looked the same, but in the cart it was more. After a few minutes the price showed the increase. I contacted the seller, and they said they had no control over the price....????what, really????? I didn't order it in the end.

Thsts exactly how Amazon works. Its a supply and demand based price, if an item is too idle.. the price drops till people order. It's essentially automated capitalism. Put the item in your wish list of you have time to wait. and you'll be able to watch the price move and maybe nab it at a good point.

And the price is back down on the tool I was going to order. How strange.

Re: LS swap oil pans for cheap!

go here http://camelcamelcamel.com/

paste the link of the Amazon item you want to watch ... camel camel camel will email you when the price gets to a price point of your choosing.

amazon prime + camel camel camel = decent savings if you're patient.

Re: LS swap oil pans for cheap!

I never knew all this about amazon. I had been watching a very expensive flywheel for my mustang T5 swap, I think it was around a $350 flywheel. I was googling the PN one night and it popped up on amazon for like $225. It was pretty much $350 everywhere. I had to check PN like 10 times before I finally clicked buy. Checked the next day and same item went up $100. That was a nice score.
