Wiring for Alternator

Anyone have a simple wiring diagram that shows how to wire an alternator as a replacement for a generator? Including what to do with wires for existing voltage regulator.

Probably going to install a single wire alternator for first couple weeks as I have materials in the shop to do so.

Working on a 1958 Apache.

Re: Wiring for Alternator

I think this is the one you want.

I've used this one a few times and while it doesn't show running though the original wires it is real simple
