Stock mirror arm and mirror head color?
I bought some repop stock mirror arms from LMC and offset mirror heads from an old jeep on eBay. I have searched a lot and can't find what the proper color for both the arm and the mirror head was from the factory. I've seen tons of pics of body color arms and hands, white arms with black heads and just about every combination, but really want to know how they came from the factory.

Re: Stock mirror arm and mirror head color?
If you have a Chevrolet , the mirror arm is body color and the mirror head is black.

Re: Stock mirror arm and mirror head color?
Thanks for the replies. It is a 66 Chevy C20. Maybe the colors varied based on what factory the truck came from.

Re: Stock mirror arm and mirror head color?
I have literature that states that the arms were body color and the mirror head is black, but do you think I could find it? The factory brochures show the mirrors and arms this way.
In the Engineering Features catalog they state that West Coast and West Coast Junior mirrors were Cameo white (60-63) or Ivory (64-66).

Re: Stock mirror arm and mirror head color?
Well, that's a pretty definitive picture, isn't it? Haha, that's great, thanks.

Re: Stock mirror arm and mirror head color?
My truck was stock and unpainted. The driver's side arm was body color (turquoise). The passenger arm was white. I had the rectangular mirror heads (I didn't like them so I replaced them with chrome round heads). The original rectangular mirror heads were painted white. They may have come other ways on other trucks, but that's how mine was originally built.
