Dimmable instrument lights

My blinker indicators were not working consistently so I reached up behind the dash to check the bulbs and they fell out when my hand touched them. Guess they were pretty loose. Tried to put them back and they didn't want to do the quarter turn. Finally got them in but it Felt very tight, and not it a good way I doubt it turned in to the lock position.

So I am thinking I should pull the cluster to put in new lights correctly. I don't want to force it and break it. Plus I am missing a few of the lights anyway (maybe they fell out too.)

After reading a few threads on here LEDs sound good but I want to make sure they dim like the stock bulbs. If i cant get ones that dim i will just get regular bulbs, but LED are supposed to live longer so i dont need to do this again. threads were pretty old so the product links don't work.

Does anyone have a up to date link to the dimmable LED pc 194 bulbs with the bulb holders? While I have the cluster off I might as well replace them all and do it right.

Thanks!

Re: Dimmable instrument lights

I have several different LED 194s and NONE of them are dimmable. Most most can go in either way (polarity insensitive) but I've yet to find dimmable ones. Others may have had better luck, we shall see!
