George Barris

Received a pretty cool blessing this week. I'm a claims adjuster so I deal with body supplies everyday and over the years have formed good relationships to get some nice hookups. This week I had a claim at a shop next to George Barris's shop in North Hollywood. The Batmobile maker. Turns out the shop is his nephews shop. We hit it off great. We talked about some cars in his shop and look at photos he had posted of cars from Grease, Munsters mobile, fast and the furious cars etc.. I told him I was a car guy and I have a c10 I'm working on. Well he volunteers his services and use of the shop. I set up today to use his lift to fix a tans leak. Well he help me right along fixing that, shimming my starter and a few other things. He told me this is my shop and can come us it when ever I want . To awesome! Here are some photos. Maybe I'll have the first c10 in the next fast and furious movie

That is really cool. Here are some pictures of a George Barris mini bike I still have that my dad bought me in 1969.
