Ok, Who Owned This Truck?
I just helped a guy fix his truck that just quit on him. Turns out the ignition module had gone out (HEI) and I just happened to have a spare or two in a bag under my seat. Anyway, In got him going again and he was so thank full, he followed me to my home to talk a bit. Turns out, he recently purchased the truck from someone in San Diego, Ca.
I just wanted to say, Who ever you are, Beautiful Job! |

Re: Ok, Who Owned This Truck?
Looks great, really like the interior. I think I would change the hub cap to the stock style dog dish, otherwise wouldn't change a thing.

Re: Ok, Who Owned This Truck?
I recognize the truck, but don't remember the user name. I think he sold it a good while ago and this guy must have bought from that buyer.

Re: Ok, Who Owned This Truck?
I certainly wouldn't know but according to the gentleman that currently owns it, he stated that he purchased it from the guy that either restored it or had it restored for him. He also gave me the impression that he might have purchased it some time ago and rarely drives it. He also stated that the previous owner gave him over 30K in receipts when he took delivery.

Re: Ok, Who Owned This Truck?
There's about 20 minutes of work on that truck to make it perfect from the photos! Get rid of some underhood cable ties, a repro period-correct battery, various other "not invented at the time" features and it's a time machine!
I'm not passive-aggressive picking on it either, I mean that literally! Very nicely done.

Re: Ok, Who Owned This Truck?
They guy's name is trying to slip in my head, but no luck so far. I want to say San Diego but could be off on that. I think he was out of work during the recession. It was back when not many C/20s were done so nice. I feel bad I can't remember his name.
