Lightbulb Brake Drums ??

Any one else noticed the difference in the rear brake drums on the rear for a 5 lug?The fins are different and there is a weight on one drum and none on the other coupla grooves carved in it.I was trying to put mine back together and the pass. side wouldn't go on straight then when it was on I could turn it a coupla times and it would lock up I couldn't figure out what was going on ,after 2hrs finnally swapped sides and it rolls like it should.
