Converting from 4x4

So with all these bolt on suspension upgrades out there, would this be a way to change over a 4x4 chassis to 2 wheel? Or do they rely on existing 2 wheel bolt holes that the 4x4s might not have?

Re: Converting from 4x4

Depends what truck your talking about. If its a 73-87 blazer i would do a 2wd swap if thats what you want.but anything older like a 72 back i would sell what you got and buy a 2wd truck.A 4x4 truck is worth more then a 2wd is why i say that.

If you are looking to convert using aftermarket suspension we have a handful of kits and components that do the job quite nicely.

Re: Converting from 4x4

The front anything from a pickup will work,But the rear half of the frame is different then a pickup.I do remember pbfab had a blazer rear kit that might work but i would talk to them first.

We can be a little difficult to get a hold of over the phone.... if you call, please make sure to leave a voicemail and we will call you back. Or you can send an email and we can arrange a call back time that way as well.

Even if we don't have something that works for what you want to accomplish, we will happily offer up info and advice that could prove helpful.
