The sickness is strong! Picked up a "new" '69 4x4

Found a fairly clean unmolested little 4x4 locally for a really good price. 327 with a 4speed. Missing the grill but overall a pretty good buy.
Rust is minimal other than the passenger side rocker.

Nice truck. It looks like it's already a driver, and a good starting point if you want to do more with it. But those mirrors....

Not quite a driver yet, it's got a little knock which I think is a spun bearing.
The mirrors will have to go along with the seat and tool box.

not a bad truck there...that fuel filter has to go...with the spring holding it away from the engine it looks like it just wants to catch on fire

Re: The sickness is strong! Picked up a "new" '69 4x4

It's got a few "custom" things that I'll change.
SPID is missing.
KE249Z
It is an original 4wd, V8, 3/4 ton, p/u w/ cab & bed, built in Freemont, 1969.......
p/b but no p/s
Heater core is gone
Has a funky seat in it
No rear bumper
Missing grill
Hood hinges are sprung
Will need tires
Clutch feels spongy
New Edelbrock carb according to PO
Doors close solid
Glass is good
Doors, fenders, hood needs to be aligned
Missing bell housing cover

Surprised it has a fan shroud and is mostly all in tact.
Not too shabby for under $2k
