Intake Options
Looking at pics, and i need a new air cleaner. i love the look, almost like the scoop style. i usually see em poking through hoods on trucks/cars with big blowers. wonder what u would call theese air intake systems. wanna order one, but not sure what to call it. it is the exact same as this pic. btw, would this work ok at -40? i really dont thnik so,so i would keep the twin horn closed element style for winter here. any pros/cons to this style? thanx in advance,
dale btw, would this work on a quadrajet? if not, then its a good excuse fer a new carb.

Go to Summit, type in HLY-93157
I think it's the same one, or an identical one at least.

The aren't any real cons to it that i can think of. Should fit on a Q-jet, they have the same 5-1/8" neck as all other 4bbl carbs.
You can just take it off when winter rolls around and use it for showing off in the summer
