Chrome Side Trim

I'm in the market for a blazer/jimmy and i'm wondering if the chrome side trim was an option?

Can you add it to one without this option or are there holes down the fenders/doors/bedside that would need to be added as well?

Re: Chrome Side Trim

what year you looking at? My 75 blazer Cheyenne came with the stainless trim but not chrome. I think they all came with it up to a certain year though

Re: Chrome Side Trim

It's a 73 jimmy, I like the look around the body lines that's all. It doesn't have any trim or holes for it.

Re: Chrome Side Trim

I added trim to my 80 that didn't have any holes.

Re: Chrome Side Trim

The clips slide so you can pretty much figure were you want then to clip and drill away. Could also hit the junkyard and find a truck with trim measure the holes

It came with all the hardware. It has a lot of double sided tape on sliding tabs as well as everything else. Instead of drilling all the holes for the many different styles of retainers used we just added extra screws to match the ones that it already has. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=549872
That link to my thread also has a drawing of all the different retainers as well as the locations. Hope that helps
