Wiring issue
I'm hoping that someone might help me out. I have had my dash apart for some time on my 87 Scottsdale. There is a plug hanging underneath the dash just to the right of the steering wheel. It has 2 wires, 1 purple and the other pink with a black stripe. I cannot figure out where this plug goes, even after looking at my Chiltons manual schematic. Can anyone help me out?

That's the converter lock up if you have a 700r4 transmission.
It goes onto the break light switch. |
