What type of oil?
I have an oil filled fuel pressure gauge that leaked out some of the oil.
I was wondering what type of oil is used for these gauges? The brand name is Spectre, but I don't think that makes a difference. The oil itself is clear and pretty much odorless. Is it mineral oil of some kind? Anyone out there have an answer? |

Re: What type of oil?
glycerine oil is or was available at drug stores, buy too much of it and you'll end up on the no fly list.

Re: What type of oil?
It's used for tanning hides. Just tell 'em your name is "Skinner" if they ask for your info.
