1966 C10 Seatbelts
are all seat belts the same? assuming non-tractable lap belts only.
also assuming since the Fawn color was standard, the seat belt webbing would be Fawn as well. |

i dont have any pics but 1966 was the year seat belts were mandated.
the ones i have seen are fawn and had the bow tie. looked really cool

don't know if this helps, but my 65 Suburban which was originally Light Blue and White, had Black seatbelts. I put Saddle colored ones in it when I had the front seat recovered.

I have two original 66's that came standard with fawn belts. My 65 Suburban has optional belts which are black.

i believe they are lap belts. i have seen a mount on the inside of the cab by your left ear. i was told that was for a 3 point. i bought my re tractor from Year 1.

It's been a little while, but I bought saddle colored seat belts with kind of a tall plastic piece that they retract into. Makes it easy to grab and they work very well. Got the idea from markeb01 on the forums here. I do like the look of the retactors corvettejim has, though.
