aftermarket tailgate, anyone happy with theirs?

Been looking all around for a good original tailgate for a reasonable price. No luck. Has anyone here been happy with their aftermarket one? I'm looking for one with the stamped CHEVROLET in it. What brand is yours if you were happy? Same question if you were unhappy.

Hey there General, I bought an aftermarket tailgate from Classic Parts. Part # 10-034B is what I believe it to be. They claim it's American made and I'm happy with it. Had to do some minor body work to cover the spot welds, but it's on my truck now.

I see you profile pic, so maybe I should've clarified. I'm looking for a fleetside tailgate. I can live with spot weld mods. It's the body lines not aligning, thin metal such that you couldn't dream of sitting on it, etc that I'm trying to avoid. Thanks.

I replaced a not so good import with a Mar-K that looks good. Mine is a stepper though.

I bought a aftermarket smooth tail gate and the fit was great. He had at the time some used gm tail gates that he was selling.
