brake reservoir leaking
My brake reservoir leaks at the cap gasket on my 83. I have the JB7 brake system. I did replace the MC last year and now it still leaks at the gasket. What could be putting the reservoir under so much pressure? MC bad or maybe wrong MC? not really sure how to check. Any help is appreciated.

Re: brake reservoir leaking
fluid too high?
not sure exactly, but sometimes even new parts are bad, I went through 3 power steering pumps before settling on one I liked (ie that didn't leak) |

Re: brake reservoir leaking
I replaced the top gasket, I will keep an eye on it. Fluid is 1/4" from the top maybe lower. When i checked yesterday it was about 1" below.

Re: brake reservoir leaking
I had the same problem. I took the latch spring holder thingy off and bent is so it is tighter. That was over the weekend. Haven't checked it yet to see if it's fixed.

Re: brake reservoir leaking
I might do that, I remember needing a screw drive to pry them off, this one I can do easily with my hand.
