clutch rod
I am in need of a clutch rod for a 1969 c10 truck with a 250 cu in motor and a three speed transmission. It mounts from the side of the motor to the transmission fork. The V8 clutch rod will not work.

Re: clutch rod
I think the part you're looking for is what we call the "Z-Bar". Yes, the L6 and V8 Z-Bars are different, the L6 is wider. It's a 1-1/4'' tube with two arms at different angles. The arms connect to the Upper and Lower Clutch Rods.
The Upper Clutch Rods are also different between V8/L6. The V8 one has a pronounced dog leg, the L6 isn't straight either, just not as angled.
