pics of trucks with chrome dog-dish caps

I'm looking at swapping the white painted (poverty) caps on my 70 long bed for the same style caps in chrome. I've searched, but can't find any threads with pics of painted wheels and chrome dog-dishes on 2wd 1/2 ton trucks.

Please post up your pics if you have this set up...

Re: pics of trucks with chrome dog-dish caps

I've been looking for pics of trucks with the full wheel covers that went on 69-72 (I think), with RWL's on a lowered truck, since that's kinda what I want to do, but the only ones I see have white walls or white stripe tires and stock height.

I have the same "yellow bowtie/chromed" wheel covers for my truck and I think they'll look great with my ochre paint. *Looks good on your panel too!

Do you use that panel for the company? Is that your company truck?

I wondered what was up as I looked closer after posting that and realized the phone number was the older style.

I think panels are the coolest-looking trucks besides stepsides......I've come across three I really wanted but with my truck not running then (as now), I just couldn't justify buying something I'd have to park outside.

Re: pics of trucks with chrome dog-dish caps

3/4 variety, but you get the idear. Green 71 has the 73-35 alum "innie" repainted to blue and the white 72 has the correct 3/4 chrome "outie". Innie/Outie not an issue on 1/2 tons, they're all innies.
